Principal Consultant at Boardroom Focus Ltd, Ruth works on a range of strategic change assignments, leadership development, one to one support and diversity related projects. Ruth is also exploring ways of addressing the challenges of the multi-generational organisation.
Ruth is also a Director at the GreenSpring Educational Trust and Chair of the Performance & General Purposes Committee, she volunteers through the “Inspiring the Future’ programme going into schools talking about employability skills. She acts as a coach and mentor for enterprise activities as well as personal and professional development. She also actively supports a range of women’s initiatives including the Secret Pillow Project www.secretpillow.org.uk.
Previously Business Development Director and Principal Lecturer for Westminster Business School, Ruth instigated a number of leadership programmes featuring original and effective approaches to senior professional development. Ruth conceived, launched and ran the acclaimed Women for the Board Programme: successfully promoting women’s development at top levels.
Ruth is a Fellow of the Institute of Consulting and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She has an MSc in Organisation Development and a DBA (Doctorate in Business Administration), which explored managing communication and cross cultural relationships in virtual organisations.
When not working, she spends time with friends & family, goes to the theatre and tries and fails to stay away from email.
Ruth has worked in Europe, Lebanon, Morocco, the USA and Malaysia and Hong Kong. She lived and worked in Paris for 14 years and speaks fluent French.
